I try to write all of my poems in one go, so I don't always pay attention to meter and other technical aspects. Please let me know how it is, technically and creatively.
Shapes
Elation, ecstatic joy in a warm square on my arm. A rhombus. Little
light, little feeling spreading the secret joy from arm to neck to
chest. I am kicking the rocks as tricep brushes shoulder. Fingers
graze arm in the out of doors, though never where the stale air of
silicone and sand moves in our lungs. Touching is only allowed in
the sunshine.
